Boston’s Nooks + Crannies | Rooted Style
Boston is full of so many great treasures – some a bit more hidden than others but with a little bit of asking around – you will be sure to find these and many more throughout the boroughs of Beantown.
Is there a secret spot you want to share – send us a note and we will add!
Like Hecate Bar just over the way from our boutique tucked away is an underground bar – named after the Greek goddess of magic and witchcraft. No reservations – you just have to be there to grab one of the 24 seats, if you can find the door.
TrikeHub might not be easy to find in the winter but as soon as the nice weather sets in you are sure to see the cycles spinning from Fenway Park to the Boston Common. One of the best kept secrets of getting around town is a classic pedicab. These carts are powered by amazing and hilarious human beings who want to get you to your destination as well as entertain along your route. Check them out – give them a follow on Instagram and then plan a ride for the spring – 4/20 maybe? More than just a ride, its an experience – custom tours and group rates available too!
Want to take a tour with a tye dyed hippy – you can, Jimbo is a friend and he is The Tye Dyed Tour Guide. I ( see below ) have had the honor of going to high school with Jim, the curator, creator and tour guide behind this brand that melts into his personality. Jimbo offers a few tour types: The boSTONER Tour, Wicked Winter Wonderwalk Tour and the Pizza, Beer, and Paul Revere tours – each a unique way to take in Boston. Mention Rooted In to get a discount on any tour.
