Position:
The Inventory Specialist main function is to help drive the teams towards the day’s goals by accurately and efficiently receiving and fulfilling customer orders. Inventory Specialists play a critical role in ensuring that all monitoring of inventory is compliant with all RMD regulations. As an Inventory Specialist you will be part of a highly energetic and efficient work group handling all the amazing products we sell. This team is responsible for order retrieval and shipping, stocking, and counting products across multiple categories.
Authority & Supervision:
- Inventory Specialist will report directly to and be under the supervision of the dispensary Inventory Manager and any of specified members of the management team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict adherence to inventory controls policies to track and account for all marijuana, marijuana products, and non-marijuana products;
- Daily maintenance of menu, product storage, intake, and continuous live tracking with internal systems.
- Responsible for performing any quality control checks as directed by the leadership team.
- Responsible for accepting, tracking, and processing all returns that occur at the point of sale; and daily reconciliation process.
- Accurately perform daily inventory duties including but not limited to proper storing, labeling, tracking, and reporting of inventory.
- Maintain organized and consistent stocking and packaging systems for both existing and new products.
- Properly dispose of cannabis waste in compliance with RMD regulations
- Remaining compliant with established policies and procedures both for internal and state compliance.
- Maintain documents that aid in daily operations & create any materials that could streamline those processes;
- Help ensure that all shared space remain clean, tidy, and sanitized throughout the workday.
- Ensure to always remain compliant in both front and back of house with all state regulation at all times whether on the clock or not.
- Undergo continuing education and improvement training programs paid for and facilitated by the company and any regulatory bodies when applicable>
- Assisting with inventory control, labeling, quality assurance, and quantity verification as needed on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Qualifications:
- Light cannabis knowledge is a plus but not required
- Previous marijuana inventory experience is a plus but not required
- A positive approach to learning
- Outgoing/positive attitude

- Detail oriented
- Time management skills
- Must be able to perform repetitive, tedious tasks without error
- Must be over the age of 21
Physical capabilities:
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs unassisted
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
